Les Misérables: Shoujo Cosette is a 2007 anime and the first series by Nippon Animation after ten years. It was adapted from Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, and consists of fifty-two episodes. The anime is centered around a young girl named Cosette who is traveling with her mother looking for work. Cosette is inevitably separated from her mother, and is left with the a caretaker.
